Contemporary Challenges in Translation

This workshop will focus on the challenges to contemporary translation, both positive and negative. 

These include the opportunities for innovation, growth, and hope in multilingual (digital) communication in a world marked by global digital connectivity. 

Challenges also include incorporating AI in a fair and sustainable way, and how to tackle potential threats to quality, ethical standards, and professional stability.

A second strand focuses on the increasing significance of accessibility.
