LMA's Mock Translation LAB Competition

The simulation of a translation project (English-Romanian) by undergraduate students in Translation Studies aims to create a link with the labour market and its requirements, preparing students for their chosen professional career and motivating them to continue their studies in translation.

In this context, following all the specific steps of such a project (announcing the project, selecting the participants, presenting the tasks and requirements, and implementing the project), the students involved will be invited, for one week, to participate in a series of Translating Europe Workshops (project management, competences, terminology, quality assurance, proofreading) designed to guide them during the mock translation activity.
