Watch the 2025-2026 Juvenes Translatores award ceremony!

Juvenes Translatores is an annual online translation contest for 17-year-old secondary school students across the EU. It’s organised by DG Translation to inspire and encourage young people to learn languages.

The 27 winners, accompanied by their parents or teachers, are invited to Brussels to attend the award ceremony, as part of a 3-day visit giving them the opportunity to meet European Commission translators and learn about their work.
