We're bringing professionals and students together for a special day dedicated to rethinking and improving how we train translators in Europe. The goal is to come up with fresh, innovative ideas for future training programmes.
Participants will share insights about the Translating Europe initiative and highlight how important the European Master's in Translation network has been in shaping translation training across the continent.
After the opening talk, the rest of the day will focus on discussion and collaboration. A series of round table sessions – each featuring short talks (around 20 minutes) – will be followed by open conversations. These sessions will give everyone a chance to share their experiences, voice their needs and help build a clearer picture of where training should go next.
Each round table will be co-hosted by a faculty member from the University of Grenoble and a DG Translation representative, helping to bridge academic and professional perspectives.
