Commission launches Culture Compass for Europe

A new roadmap to celebrate and support Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity

The European Commission recently launched the Culture Compass for Europe – reaffirming that Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity is at the heart of the European project.

The Culture Compass sets out how the EU will continue to protect, support and promote Europe’s many languages. It also highlights new actions to make diverse European cultural content easier to find online – especially music and books. The Commission will work with partners in research, innovation and technology to help strengthen linguistic and cultural diversity in the digital world.
