On 8–9 December, 117 teachers and trainers from across Europe gathered in Brussels to celebrate the 2025 European Innovative Teaching Award.

The Award recognises outstanding Erasmus+ projects that promote active citizenship.

Awards were presented in 5 categories: the European Language Label, Early childhood education and care, School education, Vocational education and training and Adult education.

Laureates presented their success stories, ranging from tackling media literacy and recognising fake news to helping students understand and apply legal knowledge in everyday life and empowering them through recycling and debate clubs.

Each winning project highlights the concrete impact of Erasmus+ across education and training.
