European Master’s in Translation: 10 finalists selected for ‘Your thesis in 3 minutes’ contest

The finalists of the ‘Your thesis in 3 minutes’ contest for students in the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) network have been selected.

Participants were challenged to present their master’s thesis in just 3 minutes, in the form of a video or podcast. Following a competitive selection process, 10 outstanding finalists have been chosen.

They will now go head-to-head in a live online final on 7 May 2026 on the Knowledge Centre on Translation and Interpretation (KCTI), presenting their research directly to a jury of experts from academia, EU institutions and the language industry.

The 3 winners will be invited to Brussels in November to receive their award during the Translating Europe Forum.
